    I've got a machine capable of operating on 120V. I would not even consider welding 3/8 plate with it! Why would I when I've got 240 at hand.

    Use the PROPER tool for the job at hand. This is the reason they make different tools ... for different applications!

    If one has 240 at hand, why use 120V? It makes no sense. If I cannot do a job...

    The top link bracket is bolted to that housing. When these tractors were popular, it was not an uncommon break with the 3 pt hoe. the HD part went a long way toward reinforcing the attachment point.

    Kubota had a heavy duty top link bracket designed just for this purpose. Because they did experience breakage by hanging a backhoe off the 3PH.

    One end of each chain gets attached to a stanchion on your implement, near or near the lower lynch pins. The arms with the lock slots for the chains get attached on either side of the top link...

    I bought the kit from Land Pride. I think it's listed under the rotary cutter options in the manuals. It's certainly heavy duty, but a bit pricey.I later found this kit.
