I have 5 couplers needing new O rings. Seems like a waste of good metal & machining to toss them out.

Anyone know a place that refurbishes couplers?
  88. Re: Running Carbides An Chippers on the same Drum?

I have Loftness Timber Ax & a Loftness Carbide Cutter. The Carbide Cutter works better than the Timber Ax for my needs, so I took the TA to auction this morning. In VG condition, it went for $3400. I...

    Re: ASV RC-100 Electric Problem

Interlocks are first place to look.

The high flow will stop with magnetic door switch, lap bar or QD disconnect switch.

Engine will not start with QD switch up

    Re: Check the bolts

A 7/16" bolt is a sloppy cousin of a 12MM metric bolt. Real close, but felt wrong.

The previous owner must have removed the transfer case and reassembled with wrong bolts. Although a Bush Hog has...

    Check the bolts

Re: pallet forks or grapple for boulders?

I painted the loops to eliminate confusion. Yellow lifting, red around boulder. Simple & cheap. 3/8" bolts at the connection points, shake the chains in a paint can & hang to dry.
  96. Re: Ever Ad a Coolant reservoir to their ASV RC100 radiator?

Oil peaks at 185 degrees during the heaviest of usage. The factory switch is set at 225 degrees according to the ASV parts manual.

When not mulching, it averages 130 degrees.
  97. Re: Ever Ad a Coolant reservoir to their ASV RC100 radiator?

RC100 radiators are next to each other, not in series. When mulching in 80 degree or more days, it's not unusual for my RC100 to water overheat in first 90 minutes of usage. It's really an airflow...

Re: Engine died. Your ideas please.

Good advice, I second the opinion on algae. This week, my RC100 quit running because the transfer tube between fuel tanks was plugged with algae. Fuel was 4 months old. Mechanic told me since sulfur...

    Re: How to sell equipment

Depending on your tax bracket, you could donate the stuff to a non profit and take the tax deduction. Maybe reduce capital gains on your farm. Ask a tax guy.
