That was funny.

That was funny.
Rubber mats work pretty good but they trap dirt, grime, and moisture under them. I don't like a rubber mat on the tailgate because you have to screw it to the tailgate. A rubber mat on the tailgate...
It looks like it works good:thumbsup:
Thanks, the pedal in the left is the clutch pedal.
Nice use of the light. I have been looking at those on ebay. I may get some now that I have seen what they can do.
What if the tractor with the R4s is bigger;)
A Woods RB is not enough blade for your tractor which I guess you learned. The blades rated for 40hp are not that heavy duty. If I was buying a blade for your tractor I would get one rated for a...
I would go with one a 10k trailer. I doubt you will notice a difference in the ride over a 7k.
Thanks, now time to add some more Euro stuff to it:D
It would be nice if someone with a WSM would post how to trouble shoot those problems.
I was going to mention that. I don't think they do. If they did they would not be able to steer with the brakes.
What blade do you have? Is it a Woods RB? I use a RB60 behind the BX and snow comes over it but I do use it backwards. I use a HBL84 on the 4240 and the snow does not come over it as easily.
I think the methanol that they fill tires with comes in the IBC totes. I see them on craigslist for $100 and $125.
Someone should do a test on the diff lock. See how much a tractor will pull then see how much it will with the diff locked.
I wonder if it blew a fuse when he broke it?
I agree. It does not help much with R4's either.
The Kubota L40 tractors (maybe all Kubotas) sold in North America do not have brake lights. They are wired for brake lights and have double filament bulbs, they just do not have a stop light switch...
I'm pretty sure there are not any rods coming from the HST pedal on a L40. It is all electronically controlled. Are there any error codes coming up on the intelli panel?
I was telling Scooby074 that I wanted to insulated the tractor. He suggested using foil insulation. I did some research and found that people had been using it on their car when they upgrade the...
Thanks for checking.
Here is one but it is expired:mad: I am going to do some digging and see if I can find one that can be used on predator products. If I come across one that can be used on the saw mill that is valid...
I found some as new as 1-15 that did not exclude predator products.
Does anyone have a 20% or 25% off coupon code that can be used on a "predator gas power items?"
Chain looks cool too:cool2:
Does a Kubota RTV have brake lights?
Most plows angle 30. The HLA blades angle 35.
If the tractor is 4WD you will probably not need a diff lock too much. It does come in handy once in a while. I use it some when I plow snow or when I need all the tractor I can get like if I am...
John Deere wants you to have the tractor at full throttle at any time you are moving.
Thanks, I need something under 5'' for where I plan on mounting it.
Any dealer should be able to service what they sell and build a package. Cabelas is doing nothing special.
The 3972 is the factory filter for the BX.
I was hoping you would see that they had measured it before you went to measure yours.
Do you have meter so you can check the voltage and ohms at the OSS connector?
Thanks for measuring it.
I like those. Did you buy them or make them?
I have both of my winches setup to go in a receiver hitch too.
Here is what he needs to make for the front. http://fabworksoem.com/kubota_bxb2_3.php
I want one of those.
Could someone with a B2330, 2620, 2920 or L3200 or 3800 measure the overall height of the fuel filter assembly? This is the filter assembly I am talking about. Kubota Fuel Filter Assy Part...
That stinks you can't get a small plate. The tag will work good on the tail light or on the fender.
Is the truck shifting fine now, just running bad?
Where did you read the BX has problems going up hill? I mow some pretty steep stuff without a problem. I've never had problems pulling various implements, trees, cars, trucks or what ever. The hydro...
That is a good looking trailer. I'm not seeing the pic of the license plate location. Can you get a motorcycle plate for it? In VA trailers under 3k gross we can get a motorcycle size plate.
Daedong bought the tooling from Shibauru.
Didn't Kioti buy the stuff from Shibaru to make a SCUT? The Kioti SCUT is the same as the old New Holland SCUT.
I got it out just before dark.
I got it out just before dark.
The expanded metal floors in the these little trailers would not be as bad if they used a heavier expanded metal and or closer crewmembers.
I saw a couple more GM test cars today. The one was a small convertible possibly a Cadillac XLR, it was covered to disguise it.
I got a couple pictures of this one. I'm not sure if the little...
I pushed this tree out yesterday.
Here is what my dealer does when they check the front axle.
You would really be best of taking it to reputable transmission shop and getting it scanned. With a Ford you can check for KOEO codes, KOER codes, and continuous memory codes.
At the parts...
Get the codes read but don't buy any parts for it. Let us know what codes it has.
It sounds like you have something wrong with the engine and trans.
Why were new plugs and coils put on the truck? Who put the new plugs and coils on? What kind of plugs and coils were used?
The mesh floor in those trailers is pretty light duty. It bends very easily. Most people end up putting wood on top of it. I say get a wood floor.
I think it looks really nice. Do you know if it will fit regular M8540 and 9540s, not the narrow?
I had the same problem with my snow plow. I think most people on here think it is operator error. Since your plow is 900lbs you probably have over 1,500lbs riding on the skid shoes with the loader in...
The next time someone changes their oil in their front axle they should see how much fluid they can get in before they remove the air bleed bolts. I have a feeling that some dealers are not checking...
Amsteel blue is the synthetic rope/winch cable.
Power vs Weight
Thanks about the video. You have some nice videos too.
Here is the completed project;)
Congrats, I hope it serves you well.
The ABS pump probably applies the brakes.
How much did each tractor pull?
Do you think the length and width are the same between the smaller NXs?
Here are the RX6010 specs
Length w/ 3-point hitch 145.7 in. (3,700 mm)
Width 68.1 in. (1,730 mm)
Height from Top of ROPS Cab 102.8 in. (2,610 mm)
From Top of the Highest Point 102.8 in. (2,610...
I don't think It would have taken any longer with less power:)
I was thinking about that too but again why not step up to a utility.
Snow blowing is something else that requires a lot of power but a big tractor can do that too.
I know on something like a stump grinder more power is going to let you grind the stumps faster. I can also see since you are doing it with a tractor that a 60hp CUT would be nice for you to get...
A 45hp tractor would handle your rotary cutter fine.
HP does not have that much to do with handling a ground engaging implement like your box blade. You need weight and traction. It is not like...
I originally said I don't see much need for a 60hp cut. I'm saying for most uses it does not make sense to have a 60HP CUT. I know there are some tasks where more power could be needed in a CUT.
I was dicussing this in a PM recently. Here are some current Kubota prices for comparable equipped tractors.
L6060 is $50,381
M7060HDC12 is $51,840. and this is with a 12 speed,...
It was $1500 to go from an L4240 to a L4740.
Not for me, anyone. I have no problem spinning the tires on the L4240 using the loader or a 3PH implement. What good would more power be? Now if you are going to be pulling a 12' batwing then the...
I have a 6' that I use some on the BX. A 6' is too much for the BX. Don't get one of those $300 rakes from Northern Tool. Your tractor will rip it to pieces.
I cut a little wood yesterday. I had to do a little 4 wheeling to get my forks that I use to move my carry all.
I agree with Island I don't see much need for a 60hp CUT. In some cases a 60hp utility tractor is less.
Let me know in 10-15 years if you still think that.
Why do you want to do away with the PTO safety switch?
Yes I can dump it. I tried to get a pic of in the dumped position when I took those pics but it would not stay in the dumped position. My BX has larger tires than your and is a Cat 1 hitch. Your...
That pic of the snowmobile reminded me of when a guy that emailed me about firewood. He wanted a 1/2 cord. He was going to pick it up himself with a Subaru Outback. I tried telling him it would take...
I have never plowed with an ATV or with a frame mounted plow on a BX. I think the BX is more suited to the job since it is a tractor. I'm not sure how well an atv will hold up plowing snow. The...
Just looking by looking at the pictures it is a nice looking trailer. It looks a lot like a Kaufman.
Thanks, I never thought about searching for a 5th wheel extension.
It looks like it may be $10 cheaper to add my own end.
The new 54'' blade will be great on SCUTs.
Invoice is not what the dealers pay. A car dealer here even said that at the end of their radio commercial. The dealers get back end money. I'm not sure exactly how it works. I think they have...
When is first started thinking about adding a back up camera I thought about using my phone or tablet for the monitor. I found out there is not an easy way to do this and it would be costly....
What do you guys do for a 7 pin extension? I have seen 7 pin harnesses in varying lengths with the male end but no female end. Do you guys just buy one of these and put the female end on it and would...
Minnesota has more coastline than any other state
No problem. if you need any thing else let me know.
The monitor comes with a remote. It is not very powerful but it may work through the box.
With the dimple being close to the side I doubt it...
The monitor itself is roughly 7/16" thick 4 7/16" tall and 6 3/4" wide.
I forgot to say I did a crew cab.
Did you look up private party or trade in? I looked up fair retail.
New intake manifold and cast iron version of the Mustang headers.
I think most large dealers list the vehicle below invoice. I know a guy that can get some kind of special pricing on GM's. His daughter was going to buy a Cruze. They went to the local dealer and his...
You can search for new vehicles on cars.com. I have found vehicles that way. Search for a new, 2014, f-150, silver, crew cab, 4x4, and that should help narrow it down. Find a truck that look like it...
