    If draft control is operating properly it will control the 3 pt much better than a human even in adverse conditions such as rocks.

    I disagree with you that draft control should be used for a rear blade if operators intentions are to leave a smooth surface. Draft control will give a wash board effect to graded soil or gravel.

    I'd suggest to check hyd operations when tractor has obtained operating temp(190-200 degrees). Also check clutch pedal free travel as this model has a "dry clutch". Does this tractor have a cab?

    Look closely at the shift linkage on RH side as theyy have a history of the pins breaking. I agree tractor has to be split to access reverser. I recommend checking hyd pressures before splitting.
