Please post a picture of any 32 hp tractor lifting 4x4 silage bales.
I don't think you'll double stack 800#er's with a B Kubota and a scissor lift.
I use a Fred Cain 3pt spear on a 95hp tractor hauling 5x5's and 4x4 silage rolls.
Three years in and no problems so...
That's what I was thinking.
They're headed to the UK come September according to this.
Kioti tractors - News - FG Insight
PX SERIES SPECIFICATIONS
Engine: 3.4-litre, four-cylinder,...
Not saying they are or aren't any different than a MTD quality wise, but that's bull. Deere builds them in Greenville Tn at their own plant, I've seen it myself.
What an upgrade! Congratulations! Pics are a must.
I had a early 2000's model and put 1500 or so hours on it. Probably the best cut of any mower I've ever used.
Here are a few from early 2014 when I had 65 heifers calving. They're of the RTV, hope that counts.
Your suspicion most likely correct.
1996 model with 100 hours you say? I'm betting the fuel is old, the filter original to the tractor and there may be crud in the tank sloshing over the pick up...
Same fluid, same reservoir.
You must do something different than we do.
But is there a actual reason, with a drum mower, they shouldn't be? I can not imagine what it would be.
If I'm understanding your issue correctly, the tractor side is shorter by 1/4" or so than the attachment side?
Weld shims to the top of the attachment. Then the tractor pins will engage farther...
Pretty easy to check for problems with the blades???
Almost every time I hear about a drum mower it is mentioned that you can mow as fast as you can drive.
With time you'll be able to pick up lots of stuff with your new grapple. Practice makes perfect, after all.
A grapple is one of those things that makes you wonder how you ever...
Flow restriction due to smaller quick connect?
There are businesses that specialize in using goats for brush control. People actually pay to have goats trailered in to eat their weeds. I think it's great.
Now about goats and the net fencing,...
Here I was thinking they'd still be Yanmar diesel and Chery gas. I'll need proof to be convinced otherwise.
For several years I had a bed room with a poorly thought out hvac. Actually the whole 2nd floor had poor air return and would be hotter than the 1st floor. Even with box fans it was unbearable to...
I need to have this explained to me.
Super dull blade tears the leaf instead of slices, leaving a shaggy cut and brown tips. Too sharp will just become dull again quick, as mentioned previously...
I've seen several with the Alamo branding and just as many with out.
Same with Tiger, which is (now? always has been?) part of the Alamo family.
Check Tractor House, Ford tractors 40-99 hp, I'm...
In my experience you're good to go.
Honestly, if you don't hunt or own guns now I'd say leave it to someone else.
People ask me all the time to come coyote hunting on the farm. The ones I let come have mixed success. The guys...
Unless the old oil is milky I wouldn't worry about it.
Never seen one but...
Take the ends off the grapple hoses, attach to the QA block beside them. The block then goes in the tractor side of the QA and the two pins guide everything to fit...
Ok, what's the JD QA weigh?
So, does the ssqa actually weigh 132# or what?
The grey market tractors have reverse rotation pto. I'm betting his "rumor" has to do with that.
Check what the lever operates. Is there linkage involved or does it connect directly to a shaft protruding from the transmission case?
There very well could be a problem externally.
Parts came yesterday. I gave them a wrong part number or they punched in the wrong number. Either way I'm short one grease seal and got a extra snap ring (different size) instead. One number...
You can buy new rims for much less than $500.
Another fan of using a leaf blower.
Check the air filter for clogging also.
Hood and tailgate???
I'm not seeing the problem.
AGCO doesn't own Case.
I believe that the extreme angle of the wing had the drive line in a bind. The shaft moves freely by hand.
That makes sense.
Ditto on not using 4x4 on pavement, concrete, ect.
I keep my machines in 4x4 otherwise. Mostly due to going down hills.
One time down a steep hill with out the added braking (through the...
When you've got a repair like that people know you aren't afraid to hit sh*t and make a wide path.
What exactly are you working on?
Go out with a big hammer and knock the fender off. Then report to insurance.
Wait, no don't do that.
Seriously though, I ran over the stub of a broken metal tee post and put a hole in my rear...
I'm lovin' it. Lol
Well, I don't understand what the dark line in the tooth above my thumb was in the pic. I looked the gear over about 5 times and there is no crack or sign of the dark line.
That's good news, I...
My favorite is when they wipe the counter, tables and then the drink fountain nozzles with the same dirty rag.
I've seen it happen.
That's what I saw and thought the tooth is breaking off. Headed back to the farm now to check it over better. It was a rushed disassembly job, I was tired and wanted to be else where.
Well, crap. Looking at that last pic it would appear the gear is in fact damaged. I didn't even notice that in person while holding it.
This couldn't happen at a worse time.
Trying to add pics from phone using new iPhone app. They worked a few short days ago but now says "pics disabled from app"
I CAN add them to this thread it seems.
Got it apart. Flushed the case with diesel and found what was left of the clip. Parts are ordered and should arrive Wednesday.
Everything looks good other than the busted clip.
I had one side of my mower lock in the up position. After much head scratching, and a few dirty words, the breather ended up being the problem.
No crank but turns over????
I often believe this to be true for many things I use.
Biggest example though is houses. After shopping for almost a year, and sometimes looking, actually walking through, 8 or more a day, I...
Never scratched because they can't reach over the side to put anything in it!
Welcome from SWVA!
I had a buddy that bought a tractor with foam filled rear tires.
I raked hay all day with it once. It might as well had square wheels. The next day I could hardly get around.
Will the cig plug have the amps for a pump?
Rhino SE15-4A flex wing mower.
I've been told it is a light duty model, I don't think it is based on weight and overall construction, but I've been wrong that one time...
They didn't make the shaft anyway, I'd say you just had bad luck.
When I had a Vermeer 5400, I flipped the stupid thing over on its side, pulled it upright, checked that the door closed and the...
Do they need to retain this shape on their own?
If not, set some t posts in the shape you want and start attaching the panel to the posts with wire. You could put the posts inside the panel or...
Pretty much what I thought. You have the receipt saying you fulfilled your end of the deal.
Can they prove the driver didn't cash the check for them self someway?
Just how fast are you going?
I tried to type this out but a picture borrowed from online is better.
The S will be lower than the main range. So HS is slower than H and LS is slower than L. Seems like there is...
Yeah the tire is from my set of front spares. Grabbed the wrong wheel/tire and been too lazy to change it.
Going in a minute to have a rear tire booted and might have them swap the good front...
If both have the same engine with the same power rating I'd check the fuel and air filters first. Then injectors and compression, then the injection pump.
That's just me though.
You could wire the lights so that the head lights trigger the relay.
Totally different tractor, but my my head light switch triggers the relay and then there is a switch on the roll bar for the...
Open the hood and check for rodent nests, ect.
Twice I have had one on top of the motor and once it was close enough to the exhaust system to actually catch on fire. Luckily for me there was a...
Hello from SWVA!
Welcome from SWVA!
What parts would that be? Sheet metal and trim?
Here's a reason to leave it on. I mowed a couple of lots today for a real estate company, to tidy them up for pictures. On the first 20-something acre lot there was a dead cedar tree laying in a...
To answer the original question, even though it seems his troubles are over.
I've made one claim and it was as simple as a phone call to KTAC and later I took the tractor for the parts man to...
Wrong. The dealer doesn't know his a** from his elbow.
Sweet, I'd love to have something like it.
iPhone here but I'm sure the same can be had on Android.
HoursTracker for a my time sheet.
Tiny Invoice for billing.
Dark Sky for weather.
Who is arguing???
Don't let the door hit your huge head on the way out.
The bigger ones will be built to last longer, but with 5 acres how big are you talking about?
It will take a long time to wear out any current machine on 5 acres.
Why go against the manual? Is 20w-50 hard to get or what?
Sounds like your Manuel read the manual.
I used to be like utopia and never took my loader off. That's because all the loaders we had growing up were a major pain to remove and a even bigger pain to reinstall, so we never took them off. ...
Edit, I thought you were saying the teeth were pointed wrong. You are correct about the placement. Carry on.
That's exactly how it works on my Kubota, jiggle the loader valve and push or pull the lock out at the same time. It's been a pita since new.
Assuming you don't have a weight brackets or brush guard?
Do they expect you to police the actual use of the trash cans prior to being emptied into the dumpsters and/or sift through them to insure everything is in its place?
Blue smoke is typically engine oil being burnt. There are many reasons why it can happen. Check the oil level for over-fill and verify the oil used is correct for your machine.
Start a thread...
Bravo sir! Very nice work!
Is it heating up inside the bales? A hay fire is a very real risk at the high of moisture.
Edit to add first hit on Google.
Keeping Hay Fires from Spontaneously Combusting
Are you lowering the control lever all the way when you start out or just until the blade contacts the ground?
Another possibility is a pin hole in a fuel line between tank and lift pump. They can leak air in under suction of the lift pump but not fuel out. Sounds odd but it can happen.
Yes if you have a clear fuel bowl or inline filter, start it up and then watch the filter.
Fuel should stay at a pretty consistent level.
Du-Al instead of dual might improve your search.
"Yeah, and you married him".
Is the YouTube channel you mention called "Primitive Technology"? I really enjoy those videos.
How is it I missed this thread and found it now, at bed time?
Looks like I'll be up a bit longer!
That seems like a very fair price.
My guy says there is a charge for the crates. The ones I saw yesterday had "Property of Kubota" stenciled across them.
I know nothing about the tractor, but I'd call a dealer or two and ask about parts availability.
Any decent diesel injection shop should be able to get them, as well as test the old ones, which is what I'd do first.
The shop I use only charges a small amount, think it's $7 to test an...
Hopefully the next stop is the body shop, or the crusher.
Is the allowable trailer weight with and without trailer brakes listed in the Kioti literature?
Seems like I've seen such figures for tractors before, just not sure which brand(s).
Your Mule can tow 10,000 lbs on a 5-7% grade?
I need to see this.
First thing is to find the shut off solenoid and see what it is doing, or not doing.
If mamma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
For a Blazer it is.
