Oil & Fuel Re: A quick 5 gallon fuel container rant

LBrown59, that is a nice looking pump, but is it small enough to be mounted, plumbed, and hardwired onto a CUT? I'd like to eliminate having to drag it out, and hookup wires @ every fuel up.
    Light...

Oil & Fuel Re: A quick 5 gallon fuel container rant

If you are asking about the pumps that Gemini, and I were referring to, they are actually automotive fuel pumps, which I think means they were designed to pump gasoline. Naturally an inquiry placed...

    Gemini-
I'd like to offer my humblest apology; didn't mean to steal your thunder. After reading a few posts, I was anxious to share my, uh.., OUR idea, and jumped to the end to add my, uh.., OUR...

    Builder,
Retired now, but I think we used Carter brand pumps, but a quick search provided me with these,

    Performance Electric Fuel Pumps
    Both are similar to...

Jinman beat me to the keyboard, I think that this incident is not a defect in the design, very possibly in the casting, assembly, or abuse of some sort;- (NOT trying to shift the blame, or beat up on...

Oil & Fuel Re: A quick 5 gallon fuel container rant

When working in the petroleum industry, we used a small, universal application, high output automotive fuel pump to transfer kerosene used for crude oil sampling in the field; those things worked...

The only sin possibly greater than the ROPS modification, is removing the "Do Not Remove" tag from your mattress.

I have learned (among MANY other useful tidbits), that showing off my intelligence...

    Not a tractor thing, but....
Many years ago I was on my four wheeler, when up ahead, I noticed a large black snake sunning itself on the packed limestone road. Disliking snakes intensely, I ran over...

Re: Rubber dust cover - guess how much!

Pardon the hijack, but can't help myself-

In 2004, shortly after spending nearly $14k having my eighteen wheeler engine overhauled, the water pump began leaking out of the weep hole; just a drip,...

Re: Looking to purchase fenders for Kubota L245DT.

If they are rusted, how about a fiberglass shop? Friend's L2350 had rusted through where he rested his arms, (believe it or not, we sweat in Lousy-ana ). Another friend who had a fiberglass business,...

    AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once that thing is built, I'm guessing that it would have to be disassembled to install it in a ship.
Wish I could have caught that show featuring it.

The drain valve that Paul is using is excellent, I have one on my eighteen wheeler. For my pickup, I use the EZ change, it more flush to the oil pan, less likely to get snagged. I know you're looking...

    Re: Deteriorating Filler Cup TC34

Any on-road diesel legally sold in the U.S.A. since Jan. 2007 (I think the date is correct) has to be the Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel - ULSD.
There should be a green or yellow tag on the fuel pump...
