    The tread design is important too. I see some of these CUTs with horrible looking R4's. I my 4240 had more agressive R4's on the rear.

    That sounds right. Usually medium is half of high and low is half of medium.

    Low for me is 5. something. Medium is 10, and high is 21.

    I would see how they were geared,check how well the hydro stopped each one, and I would stomp down on the hydro pedal to and do some quick forward to reverse to see how responsive it was.

    There are better impacts than the Snap on. I've had my eye on the Milwaukee for a while. It about half the price of a SO and torques more. Check out some of Real tool reviews videos on youtube.

    That was a pretty big tree. It should make a lot of firewood. I looked at a BTU chart and Eucalyptus is 34 million BTU a cord. So I guess ironbark would be close. Most of the Oak species in my area...

    Most of the 661's that people had problems with had been ported. They had a bog off idle. I think they had been ported too much for the mtronic to make it run right.

    I know they were still fixing some saws last year. If you are buying a used Husky with autotune you should make sure it has the updated carb. I think the 562 was main model that gave problems.

    A bucket grapple would not be that great. You would scoop up dirt with the firewood making a mess.

    A rock bucket grapple would be the ultimate. Dirt would fall through but it would hold the wood.

    That has been my experience with impacts too. The rarely torque what they claim. On your 1/4 impact you may be loosing a little torque through the adapter. A good impact adapter will help a little....

    The best thing to do is make the 12v power port so it has power key off.

    You can also attach an eyelet to the battery and run it up through to the radiator but you have to pop the hood.
