Nice looking truck!
Got a kick out of driving past the golf courses up there and every vehicle in the parking lot was a $80,000 pickup....
Would not be running the ground wire into the interior of the house....
Country Cadillacs... Lol.
Have a look at PMC Tire out of Sherbrooke. Particularly for snow tires.
Would stay away from anything post 2010. The warrant claims on their egr equipped motors almost bankrupted the company. On ours the high pressure pump failed at 50 hours, one of the emissions sensors...
My mental math puts you over 6K.
This is what we use. 2011 IH 4400 with a 20,000 lb rear axle, air brake, air ride, air suspended cab. It is still a rough sob to ride in and I would not be happy using it for daily duties. It was...
I believe the trailer was identical.
Except that it's a moving target.
That's not the point. The pressurized oil burner should have made short work of this test at altitude. It also used nearly as much fuel over the same course, which is echoed in the feedback from...
Thought I'd had a stroke
Surprised this hasn't been up here yet.
Not sure what Nissan was doing when they tuned the diesel, but it got smoked by the new version of the 5.6 Gas motor... Over a minute faster up the hill...
Synthetic rubber. There is very little real rubber used in tires nowadays.
Yup, that's pretty much all they use here now.
It's everywhere in Quebec. I have pictures of roadside ditches that are carpeted with the stuff.
You will also max out a 7000 lb trailer with that combination.... Pay attention to the available payload on anything you look at.
I have a ct235 and an 18' trailer. With the bushhog and loader installed it hangs 3' over. 18' is the minimum you should be looking at IMO.
Do you have a teenage son.....
I've got over 100,000 Km's on a set of Air Lift 1000's in my ram. At 30 psi there is basically no squat with 1000 lbs on the ball. The truck does sit about 2" higher unloaded though.
They are a pretty tough combination to find. I haven't seen one for sale anywhere.
You should price 20" tires...
The harsh ride is likely from running the tires at full rated pressure. Also, going with twenty inch rims and E rated tires is not going to be pleasant ever.
Can you hear the fuel solenoid click when you turn the key to run?
Cover your exposed skin with sunscreen. It will give you a barrier against it.
Our DMax will randomly burn a quart of oil between fill ups.... Dealer could never find a problem.
It will go for months with no issue and then boom, down a quart.
Keep an eye on it.
No, I'm a realist who has experience in buying such products.
Good luck. And you should look into the laws that stipulate how goods are labeled.
I doubt you will find any suppliers.
From what I've read the duct work has to be sized to the heat pump or the heat exchanger will freeze up. They need higher volume than a typical furnace/ac unit.
I had one. The ten steps, in order. Cone of silence for the wife.
Buddy of mine did that. That's why you never let the wife interrupt your trailer prep routine.
The only thing I can say is that the pivot has too much castor angle. I think you're right that someone has used a universal replacement, as it looks to me that if you reversed the wheel would...
You might be able to find a nearly new Simplicity Conquest. Pwr steering and suspension.
Bobcat doesn't make it's own implements. If you can figure out who makes it all the better. My blower for example is made for them by Erskine. Looks like a good deal in any event.
It also has a huge amount of inertia. Be very careful engaging the pto and make your throttle changes slowly. I already slip the clutch at idle to get my 60 going.
Check the oil pan on the E Series. Huge job to fix if it's rusty. BTDT.
500 lb tongue rating is class 3.
Not even rated for the empty trailer.
Make sure he's not over filling.
Spray on undercoatings often make corrosion issues worse. Just ask GM about their truck frames.
I agree, it is a very poor idea. And when that trailer starts to sway it will be unrecoverable.
Would not have expected that result honestly.
Yup, they are expecting you to put 4~5 K on the pin when they rate your trailer. You will be limited by your trucks axle rating.
Think you're going to be in trouble with tongue weight. That trailer probably weighs over a thousand pounds on the tongue empty. It appears to be at least a 15t rated trailer.
I made a similar sheet. I zeroed in on the Ferris/ Simplicity/ Snapper Pro lines.
I bought a used simplicity citation with 70 hrs for $4K. It will outlive me.
I would look at fuel consumption as well, particularly with that much cutting.
How long is the grade
Equally important on a two stroke..... The muffler. If it's sludged up or plugged the engine will not run.
They do exactly the same thing in Saudi. It's amazing to be driving through the desert and come across these huge circular plots of land. They also have some of the worlds biggest dairy operations...
I know of many examples. Typically the lease holder pays for water storage on the land owners property as compensation. It would never be public knowledge.
Used to see this all the time with the moving vans. It was usually the owners picnic table....
You know you want it.
The undeniable truth is that we are not going to convince 7 billion humans to stop going about their daily lives. So we will have to adjust to any new reality that mother throws at us.
My Dad had a guy rush him in his office with a knife after a nasty settlement. Dad kept the desk between them and managed to slip out and bar the door behind him.
If you stand on one foot, that is more pressure than your piano... for a point load.
The V-8 Ecoboost has been in development for quite a while. And yes, it will likely be the end of the Powerstroke line.
I think you'll eventually find that the hammer blows mushroomed the pin by a few thousands, and that's where it's going to sit.
New trucks are north of $60K for a basic diesel one ton. That's why the used market is so inflated. People are advertising my 2014 RAM for the same money that I paid for it new.
VW did the same thing, and every front fender will eventually rust through where this foam is attached to the sheet metal. Easy to change a front fender though...and cheap.
GDI vehicles will be next.
With a double overdrive there really is no penalty in going with the 4 series gears. However your pulling power from a stop is greatly improved.
I can affirm that Krown absolutely soaks your vehicle. I opt for the half spray though. No drilled holes.
I know the Kilz I have used, you have to wear a respirator or you will be higher than a kite.
Ya just have to keep it cleaned off.... Don't ya know...
You live in Missouri. Thanks for the input.
Fwiw, the stuff they sell here as Guiness, is not genuine Guiness.
Except that the newer trucks are on average 800~1000 lbs heavier over the older models.
RV ATV Coverage - ON
Amazing amount of work.
One Google search brought up multiple ATV liability insurers in Ontario.
Still won't get you road legal though.
I was told that one of the reasons these things became popular was for folks...
American lagers are very similar to Czech pilsners in drinkability and taste. Serve them cold.
One thing, you need to run a binder over your loader and another for your box blade.
Looks good. I haul virtually the identical load with my 14 bighorn. Air bags only, a thousand pounds on the ball and it pulls perfect. 30 psi in the bags though.
You took the beginners test
I think we all realize that.
I have to say, I'm another one who would be dead if I had my belt on during the crash I had when I was 18.
23.... Didn't know the Pacific stuff very well.
Peak cylinder pressure is probably about the same, although Mazda is pushing 14:1 static with their Skyactiv motors. That is definitely diesel territory.
Most of the modern V motors have gone this way. Hemi and LS motors for example. Very tough engines.
Am always suspicious of older trucks with fancy new rims.
That's an interesting chamber. Very diesel like...
Watch any of the Saudi drift videos and that will convince even the staunchest anti-belter to buckle up. Pretty amazing how a human can be FIRED out of an open window when a car barrel rolls.
I'm a little late to this, but I use a pallet jack. Very easy to manipulate the tire, but you have to be careful that it doesn't topple over when wheeling around. And the floor has to be smooth.
Ford is using the pulsed fuel injection trick on the cam overlap phase too.
To me it looks like the Ford cab separated from the frame and absorbed some of the shock that way. You can clearly see it getting pushed well into the box.
The RAM is pretty alarming. That's a...
RAM would just fly over it....
I believe that's what Killz is basically.
It's interesting that you can tell a car has GDI when they merge on the hwy. They blast out a big puff of carbon just like an old timey muscle car.
Respectfully I would disagree with the premise...
I grew up with a smoker and I had chronic ear nose & throat problems for 19 years. It had a huge impact on my life, so I'm pretty militant ( read obnoxious ) about smokers in general. Anyways, a...
You need to keep air circulating inside the structure. We have several seacans that we use for storage and the first spring they literally rained inside with moisture, and they obviously do not have...
3~4 packs a day with visible staining on the walls, is probably going to be a gut job. All new drywall and floors. Not kidding.
Sirius did an auto renewal to me this year as well. At full rate. There was no notification of the new charges, they just took it. I have been down this road with them before and you might as well...
TDS | MSDS | Hernon manufacturing
I use a loctite type product, I think it's called drip stop.
