    You can get a Curt WDH for a little more money. I think the HF is a round bar system which is not as good as a reunion bar IMO.

    BXs are very light on the front. You really can't do anything with out a ballast on the front. If you get in a situation like that again you can always back up the hill.

    I have a HF quick hitch, an Imatch with fixed top hook and an imatch with an adjustable to hook. The imatches are better in just about every way. I do like the imatch with the fixed hook the best....

    Napa in Winchester has something (like a sock?) you can stick a fuel tank to remove water. They are up at the counter closest to the batteries. That may work for your barrels when they thaw out.

    Chuck, here is how I looked at the kinetic splitters. Look how much wood you can split with an 4 or 8lb maul. So why wouldn't a splitter with two 75lb or 90lb flywheels get the job done.
