    You'll be happier if it's turning properly. If you revers their direction you'll be moving the tilled ground where you don't want it.

    Buy the reverser, sell 373 and done.

    I'd think putting it in neutral would be safe, especially for that distance. Overseas variants of the tractor had (IIRC) plugs up front to connect lights for when towing the tractor down the road.

    Rear mount works well for me. I think the MMM gives an overall better cut, but it's also 500lbs to shove under my tractor. I got a LandPride 72" used last year, works very well so far.

    I think that's normal. Sidewalls never, to my knowledge, have the same number of plies as the tread. No need normally and ride would be hellish.

    They certainly are LT tires. But he also knows this. The problem he likely found when looking for new turfs is their costs. A single rear turf tire to fit the 855 rings in around $300 plus shipping....

    A light truck mud tire needs rotational speed to clean itself out which we don't have much of on our tractors. Even R1's can get clogged with mud so I wouldn't fret too much.

    It's an older tractor with a dubious maintenance history. I'd say the oil pressure is pretty darn good. That gauge set looks to be around $30 or so, not a bad investment.
