No fuel at the bulb where the filter is so unhooked the line running back to the tank - gas starting coming out. Reattached and try to start - cranks but wont turn over - how do I get it to pump gas to the carb and fire up?

Found brake switch loose, and reinstalled still wont start. Engine cranks but wont turn over. Replaced solenoid too, no luck. Battery is fairly new.

I found the brake switch hanging loose (see photo) which caused the mower to not start. How do I remount the switch? Thanks

Fuel solenoid clicks but nothing from the starter solenoid. Jumped the starter solenoid with a screwdriver and at least it cranked, although it wouldn't turn over. I replaced the solenoid today but still dead, unless I jump the solenoid again with a screwdriver. Still the engine will crank...

Replaced the fuse, turned the key, "pop". Replaced the fuse, same thing.

I have to jump this tractor every use - is the alternator bad? Voltage regulator? Just clicks when I try to start it.

Having a **** of a time getting the new belt over the front or idler pullies. Almost seems like the belt is 3"-4" too short! This is an '08 before they redesigned with the side by side pullies.
