I built this Pull Type Drag Box from a Box Blade works great, the long tongue has the the same effect as the long wheelase on a road grader. I need to get some better pics of it, and some action shots to show what it does. One like this will also eliminate the washboard

Built a Scarifer yesterday, has spots for 9 teeth although there are only 5 pictured. picture was from test run. all thats left now is Paint.

thats basically it, its a piece of 3/4" plate notched and a piece of 1/4" with a notch the other way that swings up and pins in.

The end for the left Lift arm, this has the tilt cylinder. The Tilt cylinder installed. The rear Lift arms mostly finished. Mostly Finished just needs Paint and Hydraulic Lines.

here is one of the rear lift arms. 2x2 1/4 wall welded to a piece of 2" DOM that will be drilled and tapped for grease zirk. this one will have a small cylinder to create the tilt function. welded another piece of 2x2 to the BB with DOM bushings welded to it. Both Lift arms attached.

We decided we needed a pull type scraper for grading. so, bought a 4.5 foot box blade and started work. Welded up a attachment system for the tongue. made the tongue out of some galvanized we had laying around. it is detachable. so that we can still use the BB on the 3pt if we need too.

I believe thats a Spud drill. looks as though the wooden derrick is long gone. the capstan winch would be used to raise and then drop a heavy bit. the pump on the other end was for pumping mud into the hole.
