i have matched up tractor brand with other brands, (lets keep brand name out so we don't start a war)
some brands need more hp to lift the same capacity as others with less horse power. so what do most people look at hp or what a tractor can do?
will there be a market for the yanmar when they break away from JD. or should i say, do u think the jd guys will think it is not as good as a jd because it is not green and yellow?

i checked out the new t233 today, looks great and is beefy. drove a hst has power and it has a handy bucket lever and the hand throttle is in a great loc. it feels like u r flying a jet where the hand throttle is.

i was told by a jd dealer at a ag show that jd makes there 3000 series in japan, 4000 in Germany, 5000 assembled in Mexico? what is up with that or how true is it?
does Caterpillar engines carry much weight, would a tractor with that engine brand be looked at more than if it had a lesser brand name? (not meaning cat is the best or other brands r not as good.)

i was on the yanmar web site can u get sub-compact tractors in the states, if so were r the dealers? does john deere not allow yanmar to sell them in the states?
i was told this weekend that new holland and the case skid loader where made in the same factory, the dif is the arms. does any 1 know about this?

if i have about 6 to 8 acres of land and i am doing mowing and landscaping. the tractors i am looking at 1 weights around 1700 lbs and the other is around 2000. plus the lighter 1 has more lifting and breakout force which 1 would U recommend? does the 300lbs make that much of a difference
