    L 3400 steering jerky

My L-3400 seems to have developed a jerkiness in the steering and somewhat in the loader operations. It happened almost overnight Hydraulic fluid level is OK but has some bubbles in it. Any suggestions. I have had it for 7 years and not a lot of use.

    Concrete slab

I've got a quick question for some of you more knowledgable folks. I'm planning to put up a 30x50 metal building on a slab in the hill country of Texas. Should there be plastic (moisture barrier) under the rebar? The guy I'm using doesn't think there needs to be one. I'm leaning the other...

    What time is it?

Has anyone figured out what time zone TBN is on? I read the posts and they appear in the future. I know my son is on an aircraft carrier around Japan and his emails are 14 or 15 hrs ahead of us. This probably doesn't go under the safety topic, but I may have slipped into the twilight zone...

    New Kubota for me today!

I just took delivery of a new Kubota L3400 HST. Got King Kutter bb and shredder. Had the folks to order and install the toothbar also. If you live in the Texas Hill Country and are shopping for a Kubota, I suggest you give Five Star Rentals in Kerrville and Comfort a visit. These folks are...

    Kubota revolving credit

Has anyone actually used the Kubota revolving credit where it is 0% for one year + $500 rebate? Supposedly it is for up to $15000. It would be interesting if your experience is like mine, and I will not be using it. Me thinks it may some sort of come on (scam) from Kubota.

    Rechargeable grease gun

Harbor Freight has a 12v rechargeable grease gun on sale in the catalog for 49.99 (reg 79.99). I know it is probably Chinese like most of the other stuff. Does anyone have one of these and how durable are they? Do the batteries last very long? It comes with a 30 in hose. Thanks

    Orange in the near future

Looks like the Humbleto will be getting a L3400 hst in the near future. Should be taking delivery around the end of the month. That will allow time for a toothbar delivery/installation. Loader, bb and cutter all in the deal. Found a surprising good deal from a rental place that just happens...

Any long term experience with Mahindra 3510?

    Kioti vs Kubota

I'm considering my first tractor purchase. I'm looking at the Kioti CK30 and the Kubota L3400. Both are 4wd, hst, with loader, R4 tires, box blade and shredder. Dealers are about the same distance. Kubota has more power and name recognition. Kioti is heavier and dealer more responsive...
