Touché, but with hundreds of hydraulic line repairs/fittings and modification which are not O-ring fittings, I’ve experienced zero hydro pump failures due to liquid tephlone tape. Maybe I’m just lucky… So now that we are past the tape issue, why don’t I have hydraulic oil beyond the valve?

Haha, it’s Liquid tephlon tape which is designed for use with hydraulic specifically. Man, this forum is tough!
