Anyone know what is the correct size fitting that goes on the diverter valve on the stick of a Kubota KX057/U55 that let's you switch from a thumb to another attachment?

If the thumb is about 13" wide, would a 12" bucket work or should it be wider than the thumb?

If the first hydraulic circuit (which is used for the thumb), has a diverter valve so you can attach a different hydraulic attachment with the thumb still connected, when would the optional second circuit come in handy?
