    3 point rising up

I did have some weight in the bucket but maybe not enough (1/4 full)

    3 point rising up

No problem if I get it figured out I’ll repost the cause, I’m really not sure if it’s a problem with the tractor, or (more than likely) operator error. I can say it’s a great little tractor. I have over 400 hrs on it. No Real issues apart from occasionally having tighten up the backhoe controls...

    3 point rising up

Thank you everyone for your input, I apologize for my clumsy explanations it probably didn’t help matters. For now I have a work around with the L bracket. Thanks again. Martin.

    3 point rising up

Is anyone else having the same issue where the implement stays up after going over a bump?

    3 point rising up

You’re right the implement should stay down once the lever lowers it, but as it goes over a bump which pushes it up it doesn’t return to its lower position, all the spring does is pull the hand lever back to the centre. Without the spring applying force to re-centre the lever, the lever will...

    3 point rising up

Second one, going over a bump or when first moving ahead.

    3 point rising up

Ya it’s gravity down, just seems odd that a 591lb implement won’t stay down by gravity, it’s good now that I modified the spring on the lever. I still think it’s supposed to stay down by itself without having to hold the lever down all the time.

    3 point rising up

The lower arms do float but when it’s hooked up to the hitch it’s all connected to the hydraulic raising arms that raise and lower it meaning everything gets pushed up. Maybe I’m hooking it up wrong? Any way for the time being I’ve installed and L bracket that holds up the lever spring that...

    3 point rising up

You maybe right, but I can lower the implement all the way over an edge where it’s hanging in the air before moving forward to engage the ground so I know it’s fully lowered. But as soon as it engages it has to be lowered again, it maybe designed that way. but if it is it would be annoying for...

    3 point rising up

Thanks for the response, Hmm, ok so when I use the tiller I lower it down to ground and start moving forward, then it will on its own raise up a few inches, so I push the lever down again, if it gets raised up from going over a hump or pushed up by hard dirt , it won’t go back down, and will...

    3 point rising up

High guys my 2018 Massey gc 1710 has an issue where the 3 point won’t stay down. I initially thought it was because in the winter when using a scraper blade it was to light and the snow would push the blade up, but I’ve now got a tiller that weighs almost 600 lbs and it’s doing the same thing. I...

    Mid pto shaft

Ok so I got the snowblower and sub frame removed but I can稚 get the mid pto shaft off, I have pushed in the circular spring thing at the transmission end and it still won稚 come off what am I doing wrong? Ok I figured it out I was pushing in on the silver spring rather than pulling out on the...

A few issues with new 1710

Hi guys my new 1710 was delivered today just in time for another snow storm. 1st issue is the shear bolts on the fan, I went through 3 of them already, when I engage the blower pto is starts with a heck of a bang I tried to minimize it by throttling down, *which brings up the second issue*, the...

    New 1710 on the way

As promised, my apologies for the messy garage, but I don稚 have a lot of time for housekeeping. I have a few issues which I will post on in owning and operating.

    New 1710 on the way

Hi guys first post in the Massey forums. I have signed the papers on a 2018 gc1710, nice looking unit but the shopping experience was confusing to say the least. A couple of things that swayed me towards Massey, first of I could not get past the rocker pedals on Kubotas, and I did not like the...
