What did you do with your Chinese baby digger today?

Interesting... I assume that means the various valves are solenoid actuated (the controls aren't physically connected like the other models)? What's different about the pumps? Depending on overall cost, I'm bigger on comfort than that bit of additional complexity... at least today ;)

What did you do with your Chinese baby digger today?

Thank you for the insight @2manyrocks ! Id spoken with 2 different folks side hustling "forestry mulchers". My understanding based on them, was they'd take the stumps down to ground level *AND* only want $4K to do it ... which doesn't meet my needs considering: I've already taken down...

What did you do with your Chinese baby digger today?

Gentlemen & Ladies(?)... have been following this (and other related threads) for some time now. After considering other options (most at 5-10X the cost), we're strongly considering a micro-Chineseum-X for a couple of real world needs on our 88 acres in south central VA: Maintenance of approx...

Spring Tip Cultivator & hitch ID?

Thank you! Spot on! As told on another forum, "you're missing the drawbar"... so used a couple 3/4"x6.5" pins to get it moved. Once connected, hopped off to connect the toplink and saw the "drawbar" *laying on top of the frame*🤫 (actually visible in the lower right of first pic)! Didn't measure...

    Hardee 66" Offset Rotary Cutter

Will be picking up this fine survivor tomorrow as well. Fortunately, the tag lead me to it being a Hardee and their "Parts Department", Mr. Harry Prince supplied the rest! 1974 Hardee T 166 LTO Plan is for a good pressure washing (once 60* sunny days are the norm), straightening a few bar in...

Spring Tip Cultivator & hitch ID?

Will be picking this 7' cultivator up over the weekend (will likely need a few shanks removed for the 8N to drag it?) Hoping someone might recognize the brand/model? Have been told it's missing some sort of special drawbar for whatever that type of lower "QD" is called? Regardless, it's NOT...

Pittsburgh Forgings Co. double-bottom plow adjuster?

Newb with old tractor that will be picking up some implements this weekend! Hoping someone might be able to assist me with a couple things on this plow? Basically, for my own knowledge, would like to know what the adjustable lower pin arrangement is called? (have seen some on the opposite side)...

UTILITY VEHICLE PRICING COMPARISON & ADVICE

Was in the same boat back in the summer... 88 acres and both my offroad 1972 Commando (broken since June) or 2004 F350 4x4 C&C w/ flatbed (too big and won't climb the hills) were "no-go's". Didn't want a payment or "sport" model anything and on the advice of numerous folks (including the...

    Tractor Sizing  First tractor recommendations...

Greetings! A year ago my wife & I bought 30 acres w/ house in VA and absolutely LOVE living here. The house sits in a "bowl" (taller terrain to east/north/west and has 3 spring fed ponds. Aside from about 10% field grass around the ponds, the balance is moderately wooded and VERY hilly... very...
