Mowing  Grass winding up on driveshaft (Ford 3910)

When I mow/bushhog long grass, the grass winds itself around the driveshaft. It's a real pain to get off, and it breaks the seal where the shaft enters the rear half of the tractor. Is there something I can do to prevent the grass from winding up? Is there a guard I can purchase to prevent it?

While I was investigating a power steering leak, I thought I'd check everything else out while I have the covers off the tractor. Looking at the wiring, I noticed that there were a bunch of loose wires that weren't connected to anything. Tracing them all back, they all go to the fuse box. It...

Ford 3910 3-point drops on its own

I have a 1989 Ford 3910 4-wheel drive tractor (my first tractor, by the way) that has been running fine for months, but recently while bush hogging has been dropping the bush hog down to the ground occasionally. It will lift it again for a while, then drops it again. Sometimes, but not always...
