Default got tires?

I found this over on agtalk and thought you all would enjoy it.

Wow! Which cost most, the tractor or the wheels?

I'd always get a flat on the inside tire.

Roy,
No connected article just a pic someone took of equipment on a local dealer lot.

The reason for the tires is flotation. However w/ all that material in contact w/ the ground Id also think it would give some increase in traction.

Ill bet soil compaction has something to do with it ! Just a guess of course from a non farmer !

There are just two sets of tires , One for summer & one for winter...,
