What is a good price for the GC2410

I think 17,000.00 sounds fair. I paid 15,590.00 back in 06 for a 2310TLB. I got my money's worth out of it before I traded up. plowking

Mason, huh? I used to frequent that area a lot-- dated a girl from New Ipswich in college, then travelled many times to Finland; used to go by & see her parents w/souvenirs from "the old country." Had a pal from summer school who lived in Greenville. Nice area!

Wash & polish the tractor yet? Don't forget the tires!

I'm a bit jealous, as I have the previous model (2310)... but I love it anyway!

We do really like the area, except for our property taxes that are out of control.....but that is another story, The ICE Storm really did some damage to the forest around this area though. I take it you no longer swing by this area anymore?
Ok, I only rinced of the tractor off once and that is due to the fact that I have been to busy working with it from the moment it was delivered!

I asked my dealer if they have a "cab" for it and he told me that there is an " enclosure" for it not a "cab" ( I guess that is different than a Cab?? ) anyway, he told me his cost was $2169.00 USD. Not sure if that is a good price or not.

Wannabe-- yeah, it's been quite a while... still, some nice memories, for a Finnophile.

You might check out JMynes' posts in his thread, "Massey GC 2310 now with HEAT!" concerning a cab. I'm going to see if I can see one of these in person; sounds very interesting.

Spent some quality time yesterday with JMynes looking over his cab.

In the photo he posted under his "...with heat" thread it looked good, but looked even better in person- seemed to be very solidly built, and was easily modified to fit the 2310.

Jim & I checked out backhoe operation with the rear window (snaps at top + velcro on sides & bottom) removed. Both of us, if we sat up straight & tall, would push our heads into the (padded!) ceiling, but didn't have to crouch much at all to avoid that. Jim didn't have the backhoe on at the time, but I think with the footrests in place in could easily be done. Now, time for more research! (Apologies to Jim- looks like I got you in the pic!)

Yeah, Jim, that's what it was....bad lighting.

In my case bad lighting also creates the illusion that my beard is rather white.

Well, I think I'm gonna hold on to my money (what there is of it) for the time being... but I did learn that Waterman's had one of those soft-sided cabs in stock that they were willing to sell to me (not installed) for $2200, which sounded very reasonable. Plus tax, of course....
