I believe it is at the holes where hydraulic oil flows and O-rings are inserted in the back of the block to help seal the plate. Refer to the install.pdf (figure 28) in my previous post, it appears that you'll need four O-rings. It'd be nice to see the back of that plate to make sure of any additional machinings that aren't obvious. Sorry, I'm not pulling my plate off, but maybe someone else has one yet to install one and can confirm this.
