$8250 including loader, or bare tractor? If thats with the loader I call that priced plenty right. I agree with alot of your observations...... soft market, no one has money unless its a smokin' deal, etc. My only advice...... advertise (which i know you are doing) and be patient. I've been in your shoes before, and with a little patience..... I've always been able to sell close to my asking price.

The economy sucks.
Very few people have that kind of money up front.
And since the dollar is cheap, if they can get a low interest rate, they will opt for keeping the cash and playing with someone elses money.

I totally agree, right now use someone else's money not yours, especially with 0% financing. I don't know about your asking price but when I started looking for a used L3400 with my specs I found I could have a brand new one for a couple thousand more! Don't know if it is my area, just seems like tractors hold there value here.

That is a good price. I paid $13,000 for my B7800, FEL, Mid Mount, LR, PHD, RB and tooth bar with just a few more hours 1.5 years ago (with a dented hood).

You just need to find someone that has the cash on hand, which is hard these days.

Looking at the pics -
Paint the hoe and fix the seat.
You've got an excellent price if all is in good running order.
I would definitely have looked at it instead of my current ride this last spring.

I agree - fix the seat, blast and paint the bucket and peal off the old stickers and put new ones on. It will make the unit look a lot better and may make you and extra grand or so....

I suspect that financing could play a role here.
At a couple of thou most folks can find ready cash but when yo get close to $10,000 (well OK, over $5000) most need to finance, so your market gets much slimmer.

Once won a govt auction at $3000. for a seized current year Subaru that (at the time) should have retailed at $15,000 used.
I had to wholesale it for around $6 even tho I has asked only about $9.5. retail.

It had warrantee left, so there were no service issues and it was super clean with a mere 5,000 miles or so.
At auction it could not start due to blown fuse link in starter circuit and as a joke I placed my 'garbage bid' fully knowing of the factory warrantee would cover any major repairs.

After much pondering (and Q's from 'lookers') I realized that no bank would finance unless via a dealer and at that time and place the amount of ready cash was outside of most folks capabilities.

You can sell anything if the price is right. Obviously it is too high for your market. You might try expanding your market and bring in more determined buyers. After all tractor buyers are a pretty small market.

I tried to sell my old Corvette locally and got 0 inquires after 3 weeks. I expanded my market reach and sold it in a week.
