Looks good! Now for on the job testing, eh? I see you have 3 trip springs on the blade. Mine has two and rarely trips, of course I don't have much of anything in the way of obstructions. It is nice to have both hydraulic angle and lift. Plowing should be sweet. Enjoy!

Yeah I put an old western angle cylinder I had laying around and figured "What the heck" so I got a quick connect, and started going at it!

The plow sure does go up very quick though!!!!

I leave my lever on my loader in the float position when I'm going to plow though, but I think its going to work out wonderful, well I hope so anyway!!!

We really beefed up the frame and put extra support 1/2 inch think steel to reinforce the angle iron! But I had all the metal given to me for FREE!!! Can't beat FREE Stuff!!!!

Alot work and here is what I came out with!!!!!!

Nice job. I know I keep saying this but someday I will mount a plow blade to the front of my tractor. But for now I will stick with the rear blower and loader on the front.

Can you give a bit more detail in what you got into it and the process of the building. How wide is the blade?

You bet , we started with 3/8 X 4 inch angle iron, and then it was all 1/2 inch thick steel plating, and the blade is a western 7 1/2 ft. plow,

alot of welding, Next time I would eliminate the 1/2 inch thick plate behind the lift cylinder, go with 3 inch square tubing and cut you hole for you arm to mount inside the box tubing, and that will stop the stress of the lifting of the blade, we noticed this problem after we hooked everything up and was done, so definitley go with 3 inch square tubing for your backing on your lifting cylinder, NO PLAY!!!! or bending.

And go with also mounting your plow mount bracket to your frame by 1 or at least 1/2 inch thick steel plateing...... if you don't you'll have your plow wanting to tuck under the tractor so really reinforce it with heavy steel!!!!!!

and grade 8 bolts and washers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have any pics off the tractor yet but will get those to you later, as we awaiting the arrival of 4 to 6 inches of snow sooooooooon........

I used square tubing on the up/down cylinder arm, and the 1/4 inch plate covers on each end, with a bit longer plate at the end that holds the hook.

Thanks guys , keep any questions coming, I even am seeing me welding in my sleep , thats how much welding I did on this whole thing!!!!!!!!

I can't get that arc out of my eye!!!!!!
