Those of you that saw my other post....

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...184397-urgent-has-kl1590-loader-problems.html

......are aware that I was interested in this tractor.

I drove a 400mile round trip to view,
and while it will suit many, not me.
Bit too rusty, stiff controls, overpriced and no warranty.
Pictures are very deceiving, best to see in the flesh.

End result, I am buying a new DK551C and KL1595 from the importer in Ireland,
will have a warranty and backup.
Very nice old guy,
be prepared for many pictures when I get it in a week or so.

Will be using it on a commercial farm to feed cattle over the winter.

Congratulations.

You need to recruit some countrymen to TBN but rest assured we've already got all the Blarney we can handle here.

Can anyone confirm what the lifting capacity of the KL1595 loader is, and break out force?
Some Kioti documents show it as 1213 to 1323 lbs at pivot points with breakout force similar. This seems low, I would expect lift capacity to be nearer a Ton.
Anyone got the figures on this specific loader model? Thanks.

Hard to get that data now that Kioti has removed it from their website. Maybe Wallace Tractor or Michigan Iron and Equipment have the old specs tucked away somewhere. Reach them via TBN. Kioti customer service in North Carolina should have it too.

I cant remember exactly, but it is between 2600lb and 2800lb lift cap on the KL1595

Well done!
That's more like it.
There definitely seems to be two distinct KL1595 loaders in Kioti world.

OK Guys & Gals.
For better or worse, I have paid a hefty deposit on a brand spanking new Kioti 551C and KL1595 loader and a few other bits.
Hope to get up next week to collect.
Will tow it down on a trailer myself using a BMW X5,
400 mile round trip.
Lots of pictures promised,
maybe a few from the epic trip.
Best wishes.

No way the BMW is rated to tow a trailer loaded with about 6000lbs of tractor and loader. The trailer necessary would weigh another 1500lbs or so which totals around 7500lbs. The BMW X5 in the USA is rated for about 5000lbs as I recall.

I have a tendancy, be it a failing or a flaw, to push the sides of the envelope a little :)
The Germans have a reputation for building a major safety factor into their tolerences and I am using a very good triple axle trailer. The route is mostly flat with light gradients with one 4 mile section of a major gradient going over the Sperrin mountains.
I'll borrow John Wayne's testicles for the day :)
I have towed comparable things before. Wish me luck.
