10-4

I am actually starting to get a grip on this stuff, well, the basics. THAT will be win no matter what.

I am waiting for driveshaft info / replies. Kubotas is ridiculously expensive.
It is just south of 400 Bux w/ tax and shipping!
I am sure they can be made and a profit for the maker for MUCH less. PLUS
I think Kubotas is 10 Spline on both ends. I would think I need to get that
made in; Kubota 10Spline 31/32" Quick Connect X 5/8"(or 1/2"?) Keyed.

Am I crazy for wanting a 4- Bolt mount? My thinking is it will be stronger
in case of undercarriage hits.

Will I be drawing the mount in AutoCAD or can you buy 4 bolt mounts so I can
fab it into submission? I am having a tough time finding them if there available, and made out of steel.

As of today, after checking "physically" with the part in my hand, I can now
make any driveshaft I want utilizing the MID PTO 10 spline on one end and
whatever I want on the other including the SAME, 10 spline x 10 spline if I
want!!! Muhahaha! I will be able to build shafts to "my" specs and not have
to buy Kubotas and Canabalize it, and for a LOT less then the stealers
almost $400.00 rape.

I have, in hand a quick release shaft end, connector that fits the BX25 MID
PTO, and others, 10 Spline bastard sized shaft and all others w/ the same
Mid PTO Shaft Dims. :licking:

Those parts are made out of Unobtainium, but guess who found a pile of
them, NOS!!! (Don't waste time on the computer lookin')

I hit that one clear out of the PARK! :cool2: NICE!

Looks like Artisan found the tractor parts black market.

Too Funny! So I am now a liar, dealing in black market parts? NOT!
As far as my source, we will not be giving that up anytime soon, I assure
you, NOTHING "BlackMarket" nor GreyMarket happening here...

If that was directed at me, I was trying to be funny but forgot to use a smiley. Will add one now.

Have you looked in to two stage high volume pumps. First stage gives big GPM at low psi then switches to lesser GPM at higher psi when load increases.

Surplus Center list one with 1st stage 28 GPM @ 650psi, 2nd stage 7.25 GPM @ 2500psi requiring 16HP Theirs is CW rotation, so you would need to find one with CCW rotation.

I am not sure how this would work powering a hydraulic motor, but it would work great on a cylinder for a log splitter. Lots of speed until the load got heavy then lots of psi to get the work done (only slower)

What size fittings were you seeking with long radius 90s? Probably too small, but my loader has the on the valve to hoses so the rear hoses can go over the front hoses without interfearance.

Danuser you here? (from the grapplomatic thread I invited him over here)
If so I am confused, you mean 10 GPM or just a little less will not spin one of your pumps? I thought the specs started at 6-GPM for hydraulic augers? Oh, and I am not looking
at hanging off the rear w/ an auger, seems to me augers are easier on the neck when hung from a FEL. If you look at my GrapplOmatic thread I am considering hanging an auger from the grapple cylinders TOP mount. So remove the grapple and use that top mount, "maybe" .

I have been having connectivity issues w/ the TBN website only...hence
my absence...

I think I have settled on a pump. Looks like we might be able to squeeze
10gpm out of the given HP and rpms.

Thank you aaron, indeed I have been getting hit from all sides. Many would
love to see me win, seems like more want to see me flounder.

I have a pile of quick connect ends, enough for 7 machines and I know
where there are more of the 10 Spline quick connect ends only to turn into
any shaft I want. Money is what it is, nothing cheap about hydraulics nor
keeping the mortgage current, an elderly parent and the business floating all
at once. Hopefully I can buy the pump next week. It is not the cheapest, but
I tend to try to use quality parts anywho. The Surplus center has cheap
stuff but once there sold out that is it, it is truely a "surplus" supply center.

I have to get a 10 gallon tank above the pump and I have an idea to almost
make it disappear. I have CAD files for the pump and I started drawing a
reproducible bracket...one thing at a time...I think the biggest hurdles are
over, a connector for the mid pto shaft, pump and the
gumpsion to geter-done...

Thanx Jery, I will look for Brand New as regularly stocked and I am
Not baggin' on SC I just seem to look at a widget one week and a few weeks
later it is gone...so to buy there and expect to go back and or send a friend
and expect to get the same is a gamble is all. Thanx for the info though...
It's all good...

NOTE: I just went and looked. I could not find one part labeled:
NEW
NEW TAKE OFF
REMOVED FROM SERVICE
BRAND NEW

PS I Just called, and the gal didn't know either,
and she said she had never seen anything labeled as such either.
I guess my point is, is "Parts are here today, gone tomorrow" . Caveat Emptor.

Quote;

Our surplus products are usually one time purchase at prices well below
normal. Quantities are limited to what we have on hand.
We describe our products as follows:
New - products that have never been installed or used
New Take-Offs - items removed from unused equipment
Removed From Service - used products in good working condition
Brand New - non-surplus products we regularly stock that are purchased
directly from the manufacturer
