I have the John Deere Worksite Pro 48 inch forks (I have the skid steer mounts on my loader). They are very heavy duty. They weigh about 400 pounds. I use them more than the bucket. I wouldn't want the 42 inch.... The longer ones make it easier to see the tips from the seat. How much can your Kubota lift?

I have the skid steer mounts also. Not sure about the lifting capacity, but I will look into it. No sense in getting pallet forks that can hold more then my B26 can lift. I just want to make sure that the forks are removable, which will help with storage.

400 lbs? That's ridiculous!

How much do YOU think they weigh? How much would you LIKE them to weigh? How much does your set weigh?

My bucket hasn't Gone back on since I bought mine. 48" frontier. Little large for my tractor but it was a deal I couldn't walk away from.

Hi Carl! Just wanted to chime in and give you some of my experience with the pallet forks. I can't give you any feed back on the clamp forks as I never had some and I know that your main concern is storage space. I, at the time also look at the clamp forks but I decided to go with the pallet fork instead after some feedback from the research I had done. Some of it has been mention here such as lift capacity, view obstruction cause by the bucket and adjustment of the tines. My biggest worry was to justify an attachment that I would only use a couple of time per year. Well that change pretty quickly as I realize that I was using them more than the bucket. First I store as much stuff on pallet as I can, from patio bricks to 45 gallons barrel, even my cab is set on a pallet during summer. The pallets didn't cost me anything as I found them at different location where businesses were giving them away, but they are not all of the same size, this is where the adjustment of the tines comes handy. As for storage, well all of my attachment are also inside and my forks don't take that much space as I slide them underneath some of my equipment, such as my snowblower, mmm, tiller ect. I understand you are the only one that knows what kind of storage space you got and how often you will use them but I thought this info could be helpful. Personally, I think you will use them more often then you think. Bonne chance! Henri

I'd like to write I'm pleased with the HD pair w/ stabilizer I bought from palletforks.com.

BUT I haven't gotten home to use them yet :(

Delivery was quick. :)

I'm planning on being able to use them on either of my tractors. I only need pallet forks once and a while but when I do they will be very useful.
Well, I still have not found a pallet to move -
BUT
We had a bunch of cleanup to do and here's the obligatory pics of new equipment.
First pic is my son using the forks to pick up and pile brush. Next two pics are some of the piles.
Note that most of this stuff was vines that were NOT cut, rather they were entangled in 8 small trees we cut and pulled down. Then the vines just ripped out of the ground.

Note - The first pic I took of my son using a fork was about 30 years ago

Based on many years of experience doing this by hand it saved two days of hand work.

Same setup and love it. I had a demo tractor before mine came in and I broke a tine on the cheap Berlon? forks

As for storage, remember you can stash them Inside a pallet to save space.

A good set of pallet forks stay on my tractor more than the bucket.I didn't think they would until I had a set.My tractor is only rated for 850 lbs and the forks are rated at 3000,so basicly that means I can't tear anything up.My nieghbor has some clamp on forks on his Kubota and his bucket looks like a bad set of teeth. If your buying to keep it,spend the extra money, it's worth it.
