Assorted BX questions
Since I'm at work, I can't answer these questions for myself. And since all I can do while I'm at work is think about all the things I'm going to do on my new BX anyway, I figured I'd post some questions.
1. Does the BX24 have any way of parking the backhoe and locking it in place? My father-in-law's Case backhoe has some sort of latching mechanism that holds the backhoe in place.
2. The manual specifically says not to use a cigarette lighter in the 12V outlet. Anyone happen to know what amperage you can pull through that outlet safely?
3. Is there a fuse block on the tractor, or are all the fuses inline in each independent circuit?
4. Does anyone happen to have a BX24 owner's manual in PDF format or any other digital format?
Thank youRay

Re: Assorted BX questions
Assuming the BX24 hoe is similar to the BX22 yes it has pins to lock the boom and side to side movement. The 22 has a fuse box in the battery compartment.

Re: Assorted BX questions
You have 2 pins to lock the BH in place, that normally stow by the BH controls. I always use one to keep the BH from drifting down while parked in the garage. The second pin prevents pivot from left to right. Not sure on the other questions.
I have parts PDF's but not the owners manual.2006 Kubota BX24 owner

Re: Assorted BX questions
I have the PDF's for the tractor, loader, and backhoe if I recall correctly. Just basically a parts list for each sub unit. Not a service manual.
