Re: FarmTrac Troubles
Last known status is that, Farmtrac was sold to , Montana tractors . Montana tractors liquidated all stocks and are no longer selling tractors.
Escorts tractors are being sold through a distributor. Diamond Tractors in Freeburg MO.Parts are available.

Re: FarmTrac Troubles
IIRC Farmtrac is still being manufactured and sold in India. It was just the US company that went belly up.
Parts for all Farmtrac Tractors Models has told me that he has a few new units he brought over from India earlier this year. He has sourced parts direct from the Farmtrac plant for me when I needed a ring and pinion for mine.

Re: FarmTrac Troubles
@Fred Widom, @Clint S: The business supplying parts and tractors at Clint's link "parts for all Farmrtrac Tractors Models" is worth noting. It is "InfoTechPeople," and run out of New York by former Farmtrac sales head Sushil Kaul. Farmtrac dealers are regrettably *too* familiar with him.
So far I've not heard of any issues with InfoTechPeople parts fulfillment. Buying tractors from ITP? Perhaps if your business has "risk capital" and you want a playing-tag-in-the-highway type of adrenaline rush. Calmer folks are looking for info about warranty parts and labor, financing and third-party buyback ("lemon laws") statutes.
Either way...good luck and send me--and all of our community members--an update on how it goes. After all, David had a slingshot and a pocket full of rocks to fight a giant...we have each other and the information we share.
So load up your pockets with information rocks, then unload--and crease Goliath right between the eyes.
