Re: Tractor gets a fancy new V blade
Nice blade for that tractor. Good thing it was not too much deeper. Nice to have the cab.

Re: Tractor gets a fancy new V blade
Actually I did run some deeper stuff. The sidewalk out next to the street is all new with those nice slopes at every entrance instead of curbs. It had extra snow from the street plow-about 16" high-and it went right through it,and stayed straight. No way with the old 4ft straight plow. The best feature of the V is pushing ahead with no trails on either side.Makes cleaning driveway pads much quicker.

Oh man is that fantastic ! Super nice job on this. I wish you were my neighbor, as I would be bugging you for assistance as I fabricate my own blade!

Re: Tractor gets a fancy new V blade
Might be about as cheap, and a lot easier,to buy this plow and build a hitch and power-angle it.Cheap.

Re: Tractor gets a fancy new V blade
You need to add a turret on top of the cab for your head to stick up through, looks like you're hunched over to see out the windshield. Amazing piece of engineering, I'm surprised that sized tractor can push that much snow, and it doesn't even look like you have chains on it.

Thanks for this link. You are right... I called them with some questions about the push tubes & mounting plates, but they were just order-takers. They did point me to the manufacturer "American Manufacturing". Here is their site: American Manufacturing - Home
