Default I bought a Dodge today.

I have a post below about buying a Dodge Diesel. I bought one today. Its a 2004, Quad Cab, 3/4 ton, short bed, 24 valve 5.9l diesel. It has about 105,000 miles on it, silver in color, 4.10 rear end. I've only put a few miles on it but the computer is showing around 20mpg. It has exhaust on it and and edge chip on it. I'll have to read about the edge chips since I don't know much about them. We have a busy weekend planned so I'll try and post some pics next week.

I have the same truck but don't have the 4.10's. I do a bit too
    much freeway driving for those.
I also have the Edge Juice with Attitude. If i turn my box all the way up it makes some impressive horsepower but makes my clutch slip a bit.

I went with a Luk ceramic clutch in my diesel F250.

I just picked up a 91 Dodge w250 project for my son. It has the CTD.

Very nice! I would love to have a 2004-2007 5.9l Cummins RAM.

4.10 rear end and 20 mpg.
If that is true when hand calculated then it's very impressive!

I traded in a GMC 1/2 ton 4x4 regular cab 3.73 gears and I usually average about 13mpg going back and forth to work. When I test drove the Dodge yesterday, I reset the trip computer and got 22 mpg driving the same route. When I went back to buy the truck with my wife, we were in a hurry going back home since we had my daughters swim meet to go to and I drove it pretty hard and the computer still showed 20.0 when I got home.

The Edge chip has a date of early 2005 on it and there is no way to change anything on it. It just plugs in and does its thing. It has a pinstripe on it that is strands of barb wire instead of regular pin stripe. I plan on removing that. It also has a sticker on the tailgate that says "DODGE MAKES IT, CUMMINS SHAKES IT". I think that will have to come off also.

Very awesome, welcome to the Cummins family.

I'm going to bet removing that pinstripe is going to leave a ghost image in the paint.
