Re: ck20 or ck27 that is the question.
Nice job on the new tractor. I didn't get a chance to join in the conversation before you bought but would have told you to go with the bigger tractor. The biggest mistake people make that I have read on here is not going big enough. Now you have all you will need and if you get a trailer you can take it on the road and help out family and friends. Have fun

Re: ck20 or ck27 that is the question.
Engine29,
I dealt with The Turf Team in morris IL. they had a mmm on a ck20 on their lot. the mower was priced at 1999.00 but it was not in the price if it had wanted it with the 20 the total would have been up at almost 15k (13k for tractor and loader) I don't know if this was just a deal if it stayed on the tractor or if it would go up if it was separated. I guess you could always call and ask. Talk to Ben Price. He helped me and I believe is the owner, don't quote me on that thought. He was very helpful. I think they told me they had only been selling kioti for about 2 years which made me nervous but is also the reason I think they had better pricing. In talking to the service guys I got a good feeling that they knew what they were talking about and knew what they were doing so it settled my concerns.

Congrats on your new tractor. I went through the same thought process that you went through and looked very hard at the Ck20 as well as the Branson and the LS tractors. I finally decided on the Ck27 for a lot of the same reasons you did and the dealer is 8 miles away. I bought a 6' county Line finish mower from TSC and it handles it very well. I have 4 acres and I think the ck27 is a perfect fit. I bought the HST so my wife would be more comfortable mowing and the slow speed capability fits well with the tiller work in the garden.
