    7"s per hr seems like a lot. I think JD is using that to escape some warranty issues. There's really no excuse for a good spool valve & cylinders to leak that much especially with no load in the bucket.

    Amen.. 370 hours and having to constantly adjust the loader when working in the field?!!?

    From the chart I saw on maximum acceptable leakdown rates, the largest numbers for the 400x on a 4000 series tractor were 2.4 inches per hour on the boom & 5.10 inches per hour on the bucket (curl I assume...).

    That is ridiculous. Especially when it is running. Sitting dormant is one thing.
