Don't know about the 4600, but our 5030 was eleven gallons. We take all of our fluids to our dealer who burns them to heat their shop.

Re: Kubota L4600, L3240, L3940
Your opinion....does Land Pride make a good auger for the L4600? I see where they have one that mounts on the bucket to take advantage of the down pressure rather than the PTO on the rear. Cost??

Re: Kubota L4600, L3240, L3940
Been using a case 580 with the bucket full of rocks to drive some T posts in. Need to auger in some RR ties as soon as we get some rain and was just starting to look at auger for the L4600.
Thanks

Crazyal..... You're probably correct. We have a lot of lava rock mixed in with basalt base rock.

Re: Kubota L4600, L3240, L3940
When I was ranching in N Dakota they used Calcium Chloride.....it was rough on the wheels. I'm assuming the 'Beet Juice' is better in that regard. I get service on the JD stuff from the local dealer in Nezperce. They do work on other brands but are somewhat reluctant to do so. They fixed the clutch on our D-4 Cat.....it's a 1953 with the pined Holt blade.
You growing corn ?

Yes beet juice is harmless to the wheels and non toxic if spilled. Growing up, we used calcium chloride and it rusted the wheels out eventually, but took a lot of years.
I haven't farmed since the mid 70's we rent all our row crop land out. This year we had corn, wheat, soybeans and cotton.
