- 2017 Mahindra 5555, John Blue G-1000, Massey Ferguson 98, John Deere GP
Hey guys,
Was just curious if this sounds like a decent deal before I shop other Mahindra dealers. I was after a 30-40hp tractor.
1533 HST with Front loader, pallet forks, Land Leveler and a 6ft grader blade. I was quoted 23k and change for the 0% for 84. The "cash price" with more cash back was 21k and change but had to have a interest rate of like 4%, I did the math and both ways it comes out to about the same after interest is paid with the full term of the 84 month loan. The 1538 HST was $1100 more I believe and the 2540 Shuttle was $900 more than the 1538, I don't remember the exact but that's close. Cash back incentive isn't as much on the 1538 or 2540.
Just a FYI JD was 23k on the 3032E with loader, pallet forks, box blade, grader blade and land leveler, didn't want all that but it was on the quoit.
Kubota was 22k and change for the 3901L with loader, box blade and bale spear.
CASE IH 35C was 28k for loader, land leveler and pallet forks
New Holland workmaster 37 was similar to the Case on price, 24k for tractor than attachments.
That's the price I got from all my local dealers, I haven't shopped dealers. I am pretty much down to JD or Mahindra, I think Mahindra is more tractor for the money but only reason to go with JD would be resale value. But the JD's had a very cheap feel that I didn't get with the others, Kubota's front loader is too light only rated at 1050lbs, that won't work for what I need, I need min of 1200lbs at the bucket. Thanks
John
P.S. those prices are before tax, in Ohio.
