I have decided to trade my new 990 for a new 3320 ehydro. I have not had much luck trying to sell the 990 on my own. There is a bit of a glut of used CUT's out there in the market. That combined with 36 months of free money from deere makes it hard to move a new machine.

The dealer has been somewhat reasonable to my circumstance. For anyone who is curious as to why the switch I have a very hilly piece of propertly I am trying to clean up. My lack of experience with a gear machine combined with my type of property have proven to me that I made a purchase mistake. If I has some nice wide open flat fields I would feel differently..the 990 is a great machine. I didn't match it well to my needs.

Anyway.

I am planning on getting a backhoe this time around. The dealer tells me he sells many 3000 series with the 448. I know the 448 is rated for both the 3000 and 4000 series but is this too much backhoe for the 3320? I absolutely cannot afford to make the wrong tractor purchase again.

Any other options you think I should look into please let me know.

Thanks

How much heavier is the 448? I suspect that it will be fine, but I have not used that particular setup.

What are the specs on your 990? Year, hours, attachments, asking price, etc.?

The 448 is 500lbs heavier.

It is a 2006, 10hrs, frontier 84" rake, chains, canopy, r4's, loaded tires. $19.500 and I will let it go.

Crazy Larry has the 3320 with a 448 and loves it. He does not get on here much but his 448 works beautifully with the 3320.
