I used to have a Troybilt. I bought the Simplicity 7016RT this spring when my heart stopped after looking at Troybilt prices. These new Briggs engines are a joy to start and run and the machine itself seems to be very well built. I like the quick releases to allow free-wheeling and it seems like an excellent, no-frills tiller. I don't regret buying it. Good luck with your decision.
