Legacy XL maintenance questions

Hello all,

I have a 2005 (I think) Legacy XL with a 48" mower deck.

A couple of the mower deck belt cover screws are stripped. What should I do? Put in the next size larger screws?

I greased the tractor and could not get the grease gun on the drive shaft front fitting. Do I need a different grease gun or do I need to take something apart first?

What oil should I use for general metal to metal contact lubrication? Just 10-30?

I use Mobil 1 5w30, try unscrewing the grease gun head a bit. Most guns have adjustable heads.

Thanks Murph,

The head of the gun is about 1.5" long and is too long to line up with the grease fitting. It looks like I need some sort of right angle head on the gun?
