My neighbor has a 2008 Simplicity Regent. It's got 170 hrs on it. He stopped over and asked me to have a look as it stopped moving.
I looked under it and saw the belt had fallen off the rear axle pulley. Looking closer the pulley was leaning drastically forward. Looking closer, four bolts had sheared that hold the axle in place. We bought some hardware and got it back together. Tried to drive... belt smoked. Then we got it moving then the belt broke. I told him the rear axle was hosed. He is not a happy camper.
