Hi Pretty new at this need advice on how to lubricate starter to prevent it from countijnual turning after key switch ect is turned off & removed. This is a intermittent problem any help would be appreciated.

First make sure that the key switch it not defective. By that I mean make sure that after the key is turned to the start position (now in run position) that power is no longer going to the starter solenoid. If that checks out ok then you'll have to check the solenoid at the starter to see if it is sticking. This is basically an elctromagnetic switch that pushes out the starter gear and energizes the starter motor. You have to disassemble it and make sure everything moves freely and check the electrical connections.

Sounds good.... Through some WD40 into the switch and see if it quits, unless the bendix/ starter drive isn't releasing, then you can replace it IF YOU WANT TO...
