New purchase of 1855 snapper
Hi, what a great site to learn from. I have a snapper 1855 that I picked up with a 54 inch mower and a 3 point snapper tiller. I'll try to get some pics up soon. I'm having trouble with a weak 3 point lift. I have to assist it with lifting the tiller. Any ideas where to start
. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Do you have an owner's manual. Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level?
Once the lift is up does it stay up?

No I don't have an owners or service manual, any ideas on where to get both items? I have checked the fluid level and that seems to be full. Once the lift is up it does seem to stay up for at least 12 hours even if it isn't running.

manuals online seems to have the owners manual. Partstree has exploded drawings of your mower and hydraulic system. look for plugged filter, junk in the hydraulic oil tank, plugged lines, or worn hydraulic pump.
