By this time last year, we had over 8' of snow. This year, maybe 8" so far, mostly in very small increments and dustings. This is a bummer. But we are definitely getting plenty of cold. Can't complain though - heat wave the last 2 days at 15*.

Guess we're going to be getting the big spring storms. Just in time for my customers to start rolling in the door, and my customers and snow don't mix too well.

Nice machine, seems to be very easy to maneuver.

Nice machine, seems to be very easy to maneuver.[/QUOTE]

it is very easy to maneuver turns on a dime and leaves change if there is a lil ice on the road, takes a little getting used to a rather abrupt turn on the wheel can throw you into one he!! of a skid till you figure out how it all turns.

And a plus is its the exact same blower on the Kubota F that my SC2400 yanmar uses just has a different mounting bracket bolted on, cuts down on spare parts inventories LOL

Just a few inches of snow yesterday but just enough to go and play.
With turf tires on my JD 855 I had problems getting up my driveway, 200 feet all up hill.
I had weight in the back and 4WD and still slid.
So having a new driveway, and not wanting to rip it up, I decided to give "Rubber Tire Chains" a try. If any one has reservations about the rubber so far they work great. See what happens with more snow but I'm confident they will get the job done.

Here is my JD 5045E pushing a 8 ft. fisher plow with wings mounted to a JD quick attach plate I had built.
