Yeah, I had fun for about an hour. Just because I could. ;) Most I've done before is snow blow a path out around the garden to walk the dogs around. I've been working through some issues too. First tractor. First diesel. Trying to get the process down to get it started each time, but the throttle cable keeps freezing up. So it's impossible to give it more throttle when starting unless I shut off while at a higher RPM before things cool down. During that last job it was around 24F out, and the tractor was running fine until I got the squealing tach issue, and now the needle is pegged passed red line even when off. So I need to figure out how to get that off sometime to look at. I find myself having to put a heater or heat gun under the engine to thaw it out enough for the cable to move, and for the engine to finally start. Not sure what the problem is, but I've been finding excuses to use it hoping to get the kinks ironed out before I *need* to use it.

Also realized carhart overalls were better than just jeans and jacket. Body was warm, but my knees and legs were a bit cold with just the jeans.

The tractor is a 1986 Gravely 8179-G 17 HP Kohler series II, original factory paint, 1300 hours, hydro lift, front, mid PTO. The tractor weighs 1500+ lbs. I have lots of attachments for the tractor. The blower I got from a member of this forum, its 44" with drift cutters for 50" path. The blower is a mid 80s shaft drive Gravely snow cannon that can blow snow 50'- 60' easy.<img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/files/snow-removal/401203-pictures-your-snow-weapons-003-jpg"/><img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/files/snow-removal/401204-pictures-your-snow-weapons-004-jpg"/><img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/files/snow-removal/401205-pictures-your-snow-weapons-250-jpg"/>

I like that, a clean older machine.

Here is my baby 2014 CK30 4x4 with Kioti 66 inch dual stage blower/hydraulic shute. Pictured with new soft cab by "Cover my tractor".

That's a whole lot of tractor and blower for the amount of snow I see in the pics. ;-)
