Posted to you on another thread;the tractor is a L4240HSTC Kubota.......44hp about 6500lbs/loaded rears. This snow was not the lite and fluffy type, granular and packed.I left my woods road unplowed until the storm was over, about 18 in. on the level....plowed in Medium range in the HST
first pass front plow only at max angle.Did the job.
Tractor has R1's ,no chains;I am fairly flat here, never spun a tire.

Some quality seat time after the weekend storm. We called our drive the "Driveway to the Sky" while we were building the house.

Now that looks and sounds like quite an interesting machine. Could you please tell us more about how you made it with more pictures of it. Maybe you could start a separate thread about your homemade, diesel powered front mount blower. I and I'm sure others would be interested in seeing and hearing more about it.

Here's my Massey GC2600 and MF2360 blower in action today at the initial stages of clearing an international sized hockey rink. One of the never discussed, but great, benefits of owning a blower.

The chute rotator is a 24v wheelchair motor, at first it droive a chain but that kept freezing up so I modded to direct drive. On the motor now is a 6 or so inch round biscuit made of two disks with 5/8" bolts stuck into the periphery to engage the chute sprocket. The obscene red chute was shortened and painted yellow instead, the slot is now filled as it was blowing too much snow around the engine. The chute deflector is a surplus 2000 lbs jackscrew.
