I guess we're enthused about snow removal...it's been a long winter.

Personally speaking, I've never had more fun moving snow in my life :D. Quality seat time. If I was shoveling the stuff I'd be borderline suicidal

I've always enjoyed it since I've had a tractor. Before the tractor, we lived in a house with just a parking pad so no need to plow (shoveling instead). It is quality time doing a task I enjoy and is required (rather then just make work).

OK, here's my "typical Swedish" setup:

Kubota 2550 with small FEL, Snow bucket, manure forks and pallet forks.
Front hitch, hydraulic PTO (for blower, sweeper, mulcher)
Tengvalls Uni-Vaeg heavy-duty 2m (79") folding plow (adjustable V-plow), weighs 400kg (900 lbs)
Concrete ballast on 3pt, 500kg (1100 lbs)
4-link chains on rears

The 4-point front hitch is installed by the swedish Kubota importer on almost all Kubota tractors here. All the local manufacturers of implements make equipment for it, including diag blades, folding plows, blowers, sweepers, etc. It is not considered a good idea to put these types of stress on the FEL unless you have at least a 3-ton FEL, and even then it is recommended to have special side supports.

I have around 300m (1000ft) road to our house and another 350m (1200ft) to the neighbour to clear on our property, and then around 1 km (.6 miles) to the main road. Sometimes another 1,5km (1 mile) for the other neighbour. All gravel/sand road. Add to that the parking lots, around the houses etc and it's a couple of hours work each time.

But, when the weather improves, it's a nice view...!
BR,

/Marcus
