I snagged this plow today. Meyer 90" with power angle. Needs a paint job, but it's structurally sound, not rusted out and has a good cutting edge. Paid 2 & quarter for it, I think it was a decent deal. I'm planning a FEL mount, so now I need to order a QA plate and get to work.

"Paid 2 & quarter"
You sure did good...heck you made enough so your QA plate almost free.

Share some pics of your project.

Nice find.....especially if those cylinders are working (?). WTG

There are quite a few threads on building a plow mount. Search: FEL Snow Plow for lots of ideas and solutions. Here's my 80" Meyer fitted to my loader.

Funny thing about my build......it's un-tested. We have had "0" plowable snow days since I finished my build. I have not yet tried the plow, except on a little light dirt.

Oh well......I'm ready if it ever does snow.:thumbsup:

That explains it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its all Foggy's fault as to why we have no snow to play in....uh, clean up I mean!

Nice find! I've been looking for one for about 4 months now without much luck. Seems the prices are still up there, but I expect to see them drop within the next couple of months.

If you don't mind, would you measure the height of that blade for me? :drink:

Thanks!

Great find.

I bought a used 7.5 with Q/A plate on Craigslist last year for cheap money.

This year I managed to break one of the pivot pins. That repair cost me $300. I'm still way ahead though.

Check the pivot pins located at the bottom of the plow. Make sure they are well greased and still move freely. If not, replace them. Not too hard of a job if they haven't rusted solid in place.

Good luck.

These pins are one thing I did not replace. I figured I would attack these at another time....but.....How are you supposed to get them out??:confused::confused2:
