I know many of you who do get a lot of snow normally, haven't this year. We are just about normal because of the last 9 days when we had almost 55". From Friday at 7 PM until Sunday morning we had 34" and I had to snow blow 3 times during that time period and 7 times in the last 9 days.

I figured that today the snow depth would be at it peak (crotch high) and the density of the snow on the pine trees would be at its maximum so I got up before dawn and took a few pictures around my house which I put in this 50 second video. The temperature was near zero. Best to watch it in 1080 HD

I think we are about half what we normally get for a winter. We just got some wet sticky stuff that is making the pine limbs droop but will soon be gone with 50+deg with wind tomorrow.

beautiful pictures,
and it is weird after having
so many winters around here that
look just like that, to be having such
a mild snow starved winter here.

i think we have had more snow the
past week than we have had all
year, and that's only maybe 8" or so!
a little bit yesterday and overnite, cold
this morning (10ish) and wednesday they
are calling for 60. sort of wraps up this
winter in a nutshell around here this year.

enjoy it if you like it
:D

Weve got just a portion of what we generally receive. i was able to charge for 2 plowing's thru Nov 2011, 4 plowing's for Jan 2012, 2-1/2 plows for feb and so far only 1 plowing for Mar 2012.

Overall pretty sad income for the winter.

Nice pics and beautiful scenery. Looks very much like parts of Minnesota Hill.
