This was my project for the year i originally had a light bar but i decided plowing the driveway would be a lot more comfortable with a cab

I have an extra battery that can run the lights for 3 + hours

Still, that's probably close to 30 amps worth of lights, depending on the bulbs, plus the radio... a second battery is great, as long as you take it out and charge it up when you're done.

Since you're not using a snowblower, you could make a bracket to mount a 60 amp one-wire alternator (cheapie from autozone) on the deck brackets, and run it off the deck PTO.

Im usually using about 7 to 9 amps and I have thought about mounting an alternator before but for now the second battery works great

Im also attempting to make a tow behind snow blower right now. Its coming along I just hope i can get it done in time for the snow

What is that on the front of the tractor in the 3rd picture? Some sort of plow? If you are going to push snow with that it will probably bend up on the first push. That metal is no where near strong enough to push snow. It would never work where I live.
