    Briana,
How does a TBN member receive the 10% discount? I have been through the online store and the checkout provided no discount.

    I second this!!!

    Hello drculli,

We are not currently running a 10% discount. Perhaps you were reading an old post? The manufacturer made us the exclusive carriers of the Snow Edge attachment and reduced their retail price by $10 for our members. Additionally, you can receive 2% off if you are a first time customer to our store, simply enter coupon code: FIRSTORDER.

Not sure if this will help you, but I cut a 3/4" slit in a piece of 2" pipe, then slid that over the bit and welded brackets to it and bolted them to the blade on my 8' snow pusher to keep from moving rocks and sod. I did that to my loader bucket bit, also, before I built the snowpusher. Kept the rock on the drive and the sod on the lawn. Just unbolted and removed when spring got here.

I too use a slip on pvc pipe on my loader and it works great and is really cheap. They do break though. Trick for cutting is to leave a bit on each end uncut. It won't squeeze together to bad while ripping it. I use a circular saw and 2x4 vee blocks.

Hmm... I've been planning to do this myself, Bogi. However, I'm not sure the PVC tube will fit over my loader bucket edge with the ends un-cut. I was planning to use the oscillating tool for the cutting.

You cut the ends last. It just helps keep the pipe from clamping to your saw blade as you cut.

    Nice tip Bogi, thanks!

I just went to menards tonight and bought a 10' piece of 1 1/2" ABS (I heard it wasn't quite as brittle as PVC). Can't wait to try it out.
