New Bervac Blizzard B64B $2350 or new Landpride SB1064 $2700

Was snowblower shopping today again. Found a left over 2011 Bervac for 2350 and a new leftover from last year Landpride for 2700. The landpride looks new the Bervac looks a little less new. Both are very nice. Both have manual controls. Which one would you purchase and why?

You still have plenty of time to find a used one. Will probably save yourself $1,000. If you don't find one in time you could always buy new.

I agree I have plenty of time before winter but if I don't find a used one these leftovers appear quite a bit below what other dealers want. Some dealers do not even have any in stock as they are on order. I would believe they will want more for them. Got a quote a few days ago on a new Landpride and it was 3499. Quite a difference compared to the other dealers leftover.

I am having trouble finding specs on the Ber-vac model. Do you know the fan diameters of each?

Both are 24 inch fans. The landpride is one inch deeper. I checked clearance on the paddles and both felt the same. Weight is near the same. Inch bigger auger on the landpride. Both are fine units.

I think you would be happy with either one. They both have a good size fan for that width unit.

Went to the Empire Farm Days and purchased a new Land pride 1064 snowblower. I pick it up Friday at the dealership. Should be a fine setup. Now I need to figure out some type of electronics for the chute.
